Here are some pictures from the AfroShoto event taken by Sol Washington

An article on the Lulu Washington Dance Troop was posted online complimenting the music and including pictures of Miles at the performance.
“I always enjoy being apart of high art exhibitions. I view Lulu Washington’s Dance troop is one of the finest organizations within the Los Angeles Communtiy.”

Here is some unique footage from the AfroShoto event. What you’re seeing is people playing Super Street Fighter 4 live, with the I Got Next film score “AfroShoto” replacing the in-game music. It was a really fun event and we look forward to doing many more. It is a joy to hear my and Kamasi Washington’s music underneath it all because composing music for video games is a passion of mine.
I’m excited to announce and invite you to a special musical performance this Sunday. As many of you know, I’ve been working on the film score for a documentary about professional video gamers.
Writing this score with my friend and long-time tenor player, Kamasi Washington, has been a blast, and now that it’s finished, we’re excited to premiere the soundtrack, “AfroShoto”.
On Sunday, August 1st at Boardners in Hollywood, the band and I will perform a special ‘sneak peek’ live show playing several pieces from the score. There will also be professional gamers in attendance playing exhibition matches.
AFROSHOTO starts at 8pm. The night will close out with a full StarM Live show which will include some brand new material! It’s a win, win evening and best of all it’s free!
We will be filming this performance and event, so your presence will make all the difference. Please grab a few friends and come on down for the premiere of AFROSHOTO!

I look forward to seeing you there,

It has been a motto of mine, one learned from my favorite entrepreneurs and artists, that the easiest way to live a life of joy is to make the world look the way you imagine it should. In my own world of perfection, every bar has an amazing live band, cheap drinks, no cover charge, and VIDEO GAMES.
So, in keeping with my motto, I am providing you with that this Wednesday at the Piano Bar in Hollywood. Coupled with two of the most renowned professional gamers in the world (Gootecks & Mike Ross), I will be celebrating E3 (a prominent electronics convention) by holding a video game incorporated musical experience. It is my hope to make this a consistent element of Wednesdays at Piano Bar, so come enjoy the festivities.
My Pleasure,
TheStarM (Miles Mosley)

I was recently a guest on the comedy show James and Sunda airing on Jewish Life Television. These two hosts were a blast to hang out with and I had a wonderful time performing. You’ll see a solo piece I performed with the Hebrew National Anthem upfront going into Guantanamo. It was a joy doing this show. I’m always enthused to participate in the Jewish community and it makes my Mother and Grandmother very proud of their little ketzel.
Enjoy,

Miles
