I’VE NEVER SEEN UPRIGHT BASS WITH PEDALS BEFORE. HOW DID YOU DO THAT?
Neither have I (smiles). Well, to be fair, I’ve never seen anybody do it in the arena type forum I have. The Upright is an Acoustic instrument that is very sensitive to its surroundings. The louder things get the more feedback (a terrible sound) the bass produces. In order to combat that I’ve spent the better part of 3 years collecting the perfect harmony of Amp, Instrument, Pedals, and Finesse needed to power over bashing drums, blaring guitars, screaming horns, and anything else Pop music can throw at me. I’m very happy with the result and am eager to keep pushing the limits of my instrument.
